M A Irwin Dental is an established professional practice conveniently situated in the centre of Glengormley, with some on-site patient parking. Michael Irwin BDS (QUB) is the principal dentist and the owner of the practice. He trained at Queen’s University, Belfast, and specialises in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, facial aesthetics and working with patients who have developed a fear of attending the dentist.
We recognise the reservations, fears and phobias amongst some patients and can take steps to ease anxiety and improve your experience. Avoidance of corrective and preventative dental treatment due to a dread of the dentist will exacerbate the problem, result in poor dental hygiene and put your health at risk. While patients are encouraged to discuss their apprehensions with the dentist at any stage, the receptionist can make a specific appointment for a consultation to address your concerns.
Some medical conditions are pertinent to diagnosis and treatment, and patients will be required to complete a confidential medical questionnaire or discuss medical details.
